My finished paddle that I’m giving to my big tonight when we have dinner. It will be the first time I’ve seen her all summer and I’m so excited! (:
Paddles are a typical craft that most little sister’s give to their bigs, but because of interesting rules set upon us by the school I attend Littles can’t give Big’s their paddles until after they are done with the new member process aka pledging. Which leads me to this picture my plaque, in place of a paddle you are given a plaque, and in return the Big gives the Little a family tree. For the plaque their are certain stipulations in our family, all three family colors must be on the plaque, music notes, your big’s pledge class, and the little’s pledge class, family number, and lots and lots of glitter. For our family trees they must be in a picture frame, have all three family colors, and family name goes on the top, and the little’s name is the biggest and is presented on the bottom. Ofcourse I have already posted pictures of my paddle that my little gave me after she was done pledging, but I wanted to show off all her hard work for my plaque too!
The first paddle is the one I made for my Big Sister, and the second one is the from my little to me. In our Fam the tradition is to give a paddle to your big sister for your her first birthday that you guys are together.
feeling kinda nostalgic, this is a paddle i made for my biggie for my first formal. i’m such a badass with spray paint. ;-)
The paddle I made for my pledge sister for her birthday :) Love you, Iota
